Professor Alexandre de la Taille

Professor de la Taille is head of the Urology Department at Henri Mondor University Hospital. From the beginning of his career, he has been involved in urological oncology surgery and has been particularly interested in prostate cancer. After a two-year research stay atColumbia University in the United States, he joined the Urology Department of Henri Mondor University Hospital, considered the cradle of laparoscopic and robotic surgery in France. With more than 20 years of experience in robotic radical prostatectomy assisted by the da VinciSystem, he is recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive oncologic surgery. He has trained many urologists in France and abroad, performed a multitude of live surgeries via videoconference, and organized congresses and symposiums in the field of robotic surgery and uro-oncology.
