Professor de la Taille serves as the Head of Urology at Henri Mondor University Hospital. From the beginning of his career, he has dedicated himself to oncological surgery in urology, with a particular focus on prostate cancer. Following a two-year research fellowship at Columbia University in the United States, he joined the Urology Department at Henri Mondor University Hospital, widely regarded as the birthplace of laparoscopic and robotic surgery in France. With over 20 years of experience in da Vinci robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, he is recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive oncological surgery. He has trained numerous urologists both in France and internationally, performed countless surgeries via live videoconference, and organized conferences and symposia in the field of robotic surgery and uro-oncology.
As Head of the Urology Department at Henri Mondor University Hospital in Créteil, President of the French Association of Urology, and Vice-President of the Medical Board of Val de Marne, Professor de la Taille has gained first-tier recognition and experience in the field of robotic and laparoscopic surgery.
